Sheriff's office seeks stolen mowers, trailers
Wednesday, June 20, 2012

ORANGEBURG, SC - Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell is asking for the community’s help in locating stolen lawn mowers, trailers and a golf cart.

Ravenell said, “Nearly $30,000 in equipment has been stolen from a Neeses business on two separate dates and we are asking the community for any help in locating the items.”

An enclosed trailer, a utility trailer and five trailer tires were stolen from the Savannah Highway business on May 21. On June 5, three lawn mowers, two utility trailers and a golf cart were taken.

“We are confident motorists noticed something out of the ordinary during the overnight hours on both May 21 and June 5 and will be able to provide us with the crucial lead to help us make arrests,” Ravenell said.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigations at 803-534-3550 or CrimeStoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
