Police Search for Missing 50-Year-Old Man
Wednesday, June 6, 2012

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police are searching for a man they say hasn't been seen in over a week.

Officers want to find 50-year-old Charles Kendall Reed. He was last seen walking from his home on Seabury Street on May 28.

His family says Reed has a medical condition that may cause him difficulty in communicating with others.

He's known to frequent the Greenview, Ridgewood, and Blue Ridge Terrace communities as well as North Main Street, Farrow Road, and Monticello Road. He typically mows lawns and collects cans in the Greenview community.

Reed is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds. He has brown eyes, and salt and pepper hair, including a beard. He also goes by the name "Kenny or "Dozier."
