Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Makes Arrest in String of Burglaries

Lancaster, SC – On 06-12-2012 the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office arrested Timothy Eric Shrader (W/M DOB: 10/22/1982 2726 Rolling Hills Rd. Lancaster) following a string of burglaries. Shrader has been charged with 3 counts of Burglary 2nd Degree and 1 count of Receiving Stolen Goods $2,000-$10,000. Shrader was arrested following an investigation into several Burglaries that occurred over the last week.

On June 7th Shrader did break and enter into Deal One Auto located at 1381 W. Meeting St. and carry away property from the business. On June 9th Shrader did break and enter into North Corner Grocery located at 3647 Charlotte Hwy and carry away property from the business. On June 10th Shrader attempted to break and enter into the Stop and Shop located at 2147 McIlwain Rd. Investigators conducted a search warrant at Shrader’s home on 06-12-2012 where some of the stolen property was recovered.

Shrader was also charged with receiving stolen property after investigators recovered a stolen trailer that he attempted to sell on ebay. The trailer that was stolen from a business in Rock Hill was recovered in the parking lot of K-Mart on June 10th.

Shrader is currently incarcerated at the Lancaster County Detention Center where his bond has been denied.

Sheriff Faile said, “We please to have Shrader in jail. Our investigators worked really hard to put these cases together and get this individual in jail. I appreciate that hard work. Job well done.”
