Lancaster County Council Passes County Drug Paraphernalia Ordinance
Lancaster, SC – The Lancaster County Council has passed an ordinance making it unlawful for any person to advertise for sale, manufacture, possess, sell or deliver, or to possess with the intent to deliver, or sell drug paraphernalia. The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office will begin enforcing the ordinance immediately. The Sheriff’s Office advises any business that has drug paraphernalia advertised or for sale to immediately dispose of the items. Violations of the ordinance are misdemeanors. A copy of the ordinance is attached with this release.
