Four wanted in drive-by shooting

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - A Richland County man was sent to the hospital after being shot overnight, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

Curtis Wilson with the department says the victim was shot around 3:00 Tuesday morning near Old Percival and Alpine Roads. Investigators say he and another man were approached by four suspects in a white Pontiac Bonneville.

Deputies say one of the suspects in the Bonneville began shooting, hitting the victim in the lower body. The other victim was able to escape into the woods.

The sheriff's department says the victims injuries are not believed to be life threatening. They do not have an identity or description for any of the suspects at this time.
