Family, friends, deputies searching for missing man

AUGUSTA -- Family, friends and Richmond County deputies are hoping you can bring a loved one home safely.

The Sheriff's Office says 78-year old Jessie Edward Smith is missing and may be suffering from early onset of Alzheimer's Disease.

Investigators say he is likely traveling with a dog and may be driving a blue 1994 Ford Explorer with a Georgia license plate reading: 985XLP.

He was last seen wearing a read plaid shirt and blue jeans.
