DINNER WITH DEPUTIES
Tuesday, June 5, 2012

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC - Lexington County Sheriff’s Department resident deputies and other deputies will help serve meals to customers at the Crossroads Café at 3004 Fairview Road in the Fairview community between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday, June 8. Deputies will donate any money that they receive from customers to the Nancy K. Perry Children’s Shelter.

Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts encourages citizens to participate in the Dinner with Deputies event and support the Nancy K. Perry Children’s Shelter. The event will provide citizens with an opportunity to enhance their rapport with deputies who provide community-oriented law enforcement services in the South Region Patrol District, which is based in Pelion.

The Crossroads Café is a popular gathering place in the Fairview community, Metts said. Boiling Springs/Fairview Resident Deputy Johnnie Nesbitt will coordinate Dinner with Deputies. Citizens who want additional information about the event can contact Nesbitt on his voice mail at (803) 785-0866.

Dinner with Deputies reflects the Sheriff’s Department mission of providing professional law enforcement services that enhance the quality of life for all people in Lexington County, Metts said.

If you, or someone you know, have any information regarding any crime, you are encouraged to contact Crimestoppers. You could earn a reward up to $1,000.
