West Columbia, SC – The West Columbia Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a man who recently assaulted a juvenile.

According to Chief Dennis Tyndall, the incident occurred on April 8th at approximately 6:18 p.m. The juvenile victim accepted a ride from an unknown white male while walking on Knox Abbot Drive in Cayce. The suspect began driving erratically and the victim asked to be let out of the vehicle. The suspect then pulled into a parking lot at 1303 Charleston Highway.
