Early morning in Aiken shooting claims one, injures another.

AIKEN, SC - Officers from Aiken Public Safety responded to shooting call at 2600 block of Roses Run (Churchill Commons Apartments) at 2:12 A.M. this morning. Upon arrival officers found the victim, a 24 year old man inside the apartment with a fatal gunshot wound. A second 23 year old male victim was located and transported to GHSU by Aiken County EMS.

The deceased victims name will be released by the Aiken County Coroner’s Office. Investigators continue to interview witnesses this morning to develop leads to identifying a suspect or suspects in this case.

The scene is being investigated by ADPS, with assistance from SLED and Aiken County Solicitors Office.
