CPD: Bank robbery suspect left with undisclosed amount of money

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Columbia Police say they are looking for a suspect in a Friday morning bank robbery.

Police say an unidentified man entered the NBSC at the corner of Sumter and Pendleton streets and presented a note to the teller demanding money.

The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank on foot.

The CPD K-9 unit was called to the scene, but was unable to pick up a track of where the suspect went.

A description of the suspect has not been given.

No one was injured in the incident.
