Thursday, April 19, 2012

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Columbia Police say they are hoping to locate two males for questioning in connection with an alleged assault in Five Points back on April 6.

Police say the incident happened around 1:00 a.m. at the 2100 block of Greene Street. In the incident, investigators say a 23-year-old man was allegedly assaulted.

CPD is reviewing surveillance footage before the incident. Police have narrowed their focus to two men in the footage.

Investigators describe the first man as having dark brown hair, and was seen wearing dark colored pants, possibly jeans, and a dark T-shirt underneath a plaid shirt.

The second man is described as having dark brown hair, and was seen wearing a tan or light-colored shirt and pants. He is also seen wearing a long, gold necklace.

Police are not referring to these two men as suspects.
