Police: Murder suspect was out on bond during fatal shooting
Tuesday, April 24, 2012

SUMTER, SC (WIS) - Two brothers have been charged with murder in the weekend death of a Sumter man.

Sumter Police arrested Corey Geddie and Christopher Lovely and charged them with the murder of Akeen Lydell Henry.

Henry was killed Saturday night following a shooting at a resident on Westmoreland Drive. Another victim was shot, but it was not fatal.

Investigators say Geddie and Lovely went to the home and got into an argument with Henry and the other victim, which lead to the shooting.

Lovely was out on bond and house arrest pending a trial for an attempted murder charge from a case in August 2011.
