Deputies: Fight between motorcycle clubs leads to shooting
Tuesday, April 10, 2012

DALZELL, SC (WIS) - One man was shot in the stomach after gunfire erupted between members of separate motorcycle clubs early Saturday morning.

A Sumter County Sheriff's Office incident report says 32-year-old Torrey Edwards was taken to Tuomey Hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach around 2:30 Saturday morning. He was taken there by three men.

The report goes on to say the shooting was a result of a fight that started inside The Love Doctor's motorcycle club and it spilled over into the parking lot.

According to investigators that is when Edwards was shot. Witnesses say one group involved in the fight was the Out Kast motorcycle club. The report says Edwards is a member of the Street Monsters bike club.

Edwards told investigators he didn't know who shot him. The three men who took Edwards to the hospital didn't know either, according to the report. When deputies arrived at the club, all of the Out Kast motorcycle members had fled the scene.

Edwards is expect to be fine.
