West Columbia Looking for Suspect in Stolen Vehicle Case

West Columbia, SC – The West Columbia Police Department is investigating the theft of a vehicle that occurred on Wednesday afternoon. According to Chief Dennis Tyndall, the incident occurred at the Murphy USA station at 2401 Augusta Road at approximately 1 p.m. The victim had left her keys in the car while she went to make a purchase at the window. At that time, the suspect entered her vehicle and drove away in a westerly direction.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’0” tall, 180 lbs. wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, black tennis shoes and a camouflage army jacket with a hood. The stolen vehicle is a 2004 gray Kia Sedona van with SC tag FXX 107.
