AIKEN, SC (WIS) - An Aiken teen has been arrested after police say he stole money from a troop of Girl Scouts selling cookies.

Police arrested 17-year-old James Billy Gomillion III and charged him with strong armed robbery.

Officials say Gomillion stole a box of money from the Girl Scouts Sunday night in front of the Whiskey Road Wal-Mart.

Gomillion turned himself in after investigators and officers searched several of his last known residences.

The cash stolen in this incident has not been recovered yet.

Gomillion was booked at the Aiken County Detention Center.
