Police seek ID of couple who allegedly passed fake cash

LEXINGTON, SC - The Lexington Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a man and woman suspected of passing three counterfeit $100 bills at various businesses within the Town of Lexington.

According to police, an unknown male and female, believed to be in their mid 20’s, went into at least two businesses in the Town of Lexington and passed three different counterfeit $100 bills as payment for items purchased on February 22.

If you are able to identify the individuals in the photo, you are urged to contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC.
