Family offers reward in man's "suspicious" disappearance
Monday, March 5, 2012

WILLISTON, SC (WIS) - A 23-year-old Barnwell County man has been missing since February 24 and the woman he was suppose to meet that day has been arrested and charged with obstruction of justice.

According to the Williston Police Department, Daris Brown was last seen on Lake Dr. at Buice Cir. in Williston. Police said he was walking to meet Pamela Shante Priester on Glendale Ave., but has not been seen since.

Brown's cell phone and Facebook account have shown no activity since the day he was last seen, police said.

Police arrested Priester, 33, on Sunday. After her arrest, she retained an attorney and was released on bond. Priester remains a suspect in Brown's disappearance and other arrests are likely, police said.

The family is offering a reward for information leading to the location of Brown. They hope that someone with information will contact them or the authorities so that they can bring Brown home.
