Sheriff’s Office Investigating Armed Robbery at Wal-Mart in Indian Land

Lancaster, SC – On Monday, 02/13/2012 at approximately 8pm Deputies were dispatched to Wal-Mart located at 10048 Charlotte Hwy, Indian Land regarding an armed robbery. Deputies were advised that two suspects approached the service desk with a note demanding money.

One of the suspects flashed a handgun that was hidden on his person. The clerk gave the suspects an undisclosed amount of money and they fled the scene in small 4 door car with a sunroof.

The car appeared to be silver in color on the surveillance video. Suspect #1 is described as a black male wearing a black hooded coat with fur around the hood. Suspect #2 is described as a black male wearing a grey hooded shirt.

No one was injured during the incident.

Criminal Investigators and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene and began a detailed investigation.
