Sheriff: Teens break into home steal guns, Confederate money

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC - Lexington County Sheriff’s Department detectives arrested a 17-year-old Gilbert boy and a 19-year-old Leesville man in connection with a burglary that occurred at a home on Owens Road.

17-year-old Theodore Wayne Masters and 19-year-old Cory Blake Rosson were arrested on an arrest warrant on a charge of first-degree burglary in connection with the break-in at the Owens Road home on November 4.

Arrest warrants allege that between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Masters and Rosson illegally entered a home on Owens Road and stole one .22-caliber Ruger revolver, one 20-gauge Remington shotgun, two sets of state quarters and Confederate money worth about $300.

Masters and Rosson each are being held at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
