Search continues for bank robbery suspect

KERSHAW COUNTY, SC (WIS) - A man deputies say robbed a bank in Lugoff on Wednesday afternoon is still at-large despite a lengthy search.

Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews says the suspect entered the First Palmetto Bank armed with a handgun around 3:30 p.m. Matthews says the man demanded money and then fled the bank.

Deputies and bloodhounds spent the late afternoon seeking the suspect, but came up empty-handed.

A description of the suspect has not yet been provided.

No one was injured in the robbery.
