Police: Men knock out victim with object

CAYCE, SC - The Cayce Department of Public Safety is seeking the community’s assistance in locating two men in connection with a strong armed robbery.

Police say 27-year-old Sterlin D. Gadson and 34-year-old Rodney D. Freeman are wanted for a strong armed robbery that occurred on January 24.

According to an incident report, around 5:00 a.m. in the 1700 block of 12th Street in Cayce, Gadson and Freeman attacked an individual and struck the victim with an object rendering the victim unconscious, after regaining consciousness the victim required medical care.

The two, were last seen in a 1996 Honda Accord and are known to frequent Cayce, West Columbia, Swansea and the Sandy Run areas of Lexington County

Police say Gadson and Freeman should be considered armed and dangerous.
