Matthew Milhouse Jr. Found Dead in Swansea Home

Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County deputies are trying to find the person or persons responsible for shooting to death a man early Sunday morning.

Deputies say 43-year-old Matthew Milhouse Jr. was found dead at his home on Calhoun Road in Swansea.

According to deputies, a neighbor called them around 2:42 a.m. Sunday to say that Milhouse had been shot in his kitchen. Investigators say the man had been shot in the leg, and the coroner's office determined he bled to death.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting and the motive are under investigation.
