Man, Woman Robbed at Gunpoint in Car
Tuesday, February 21, 2012

Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies are searching for a suspect they say robbed two victims at gunpoint.

At about 6:30 pm Wednesday, deputies were called to the Farrow Road area for a report of an armed robbery. The victim told deputies while she and a friend were sitting in the car a man approached them with shotgun and ordered them out of the car.

The women told investigators the man took her purse with $200.00, a debit card, her identification, and cell phone then fled the scene. The victims drove to a nearby gas station on Two Notch Road where they called 9-1-1.

Sheriff Leon Lott says a video surveillance camera inside a Broad River Road gas station captured images of an unknown suspect who may have ties to the crime.
