Deputies Search Olympia Neighborhood for missing kids
Sunday, February 26, 2012

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Richland County Sheriff's Deputies are searching the Olympia neighborhood for two kids who have been missing since 7:30AM Saturday morning.

Deputy Curtis Wilson says they are looking for 10-year-old Sylvia Bacon Scott and 8-year-old Michael Scott Junior in the area of Maryland Street.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Sylvia got into an argument with her mother Saturday morning, took her brother and left. Wilson says the kids were reported missing at about 2 pm.

Sylvia was last seen wearing a purple and lavender nightgown with a brown and turquoise jacket with white sox and black and white sneakers.

Michael was last seen wearing blue jeans, blue sweater with an emblem, and brown sneakers. Both are about 4 feet 8 inches tall and 80 pounds.

Deputies are using the Sheriff's Department's helicopter to search for them.
