Search Continues for 2 Armed Suspects in Carjacking

Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Richland County Deputies are searching for two supects in a carjacking from December 29th.

Officers were out late Sunday night and early Monday morning with an active search in an area on Percival Road between Spears Creek Church Road and Clemson Road. Officers say they spotted three men wanted in connection with a carjacking that happened on Hallbrook Drive on Friday evening.

Richland County Deputies closed off the perimeter, but later opened up the area.

The men were last seen running away from a Ford Explorer on foot.

Tyrone Bernard Robinson was arrested on Sunday and is in custody. He will be charged with possession of a controlled substance and trespassing. The search continues for the two other men in the car.
