Masked man robs Columbia store in broad daylight

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Police are looking for an armed robber who stole money and merchandise from a store near Garners Ferry Rd. Wednesday afternoon.

According to Columbia Police, the robber walked into the Boost Mobile store at 7457 Patterson Rd. around 1:00 p.m., showed a handgun, and demanded money and merchandise.

The man took an undisclosed amount of money and items from the store.

Police describe him as a white male last seen wearing a mask and a blue and black jacket.

Nobody was injured.
