Man found dead in street identified, suspect still loose

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Investigators released the name of a person killed in a shooting in Columbia Saturday night.

Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said 30-year-old Anthony Earl Onley of Columbia died from gunshot wounds Saturday.

The shooting happened on Howe St. and Easy St. just before 7 p.m. When officers arrived they found Onley lying in the street.

Details about what led up to the shooting have not been released. The suspect is described by police as a male between 25 and 40-years-old with dreadlocks and wearing a white T-shirt.
