Deputies: Manhunt cause of Ridge View High modified lockdown

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Ridge View High School was on modified lockdown Thursday while the Richland County Sheriff's Department sought several juvenile suspects in the area.

According to the sheriff's department, the juvenile suspects were seen breaking into several homes in Lake Carolina on Chalfont Lane. Deputies attempted to catch the suspects, but they managed to escape into a wooded area.

Investigators say they spotted two unknown males wearing hoodies.

The sheriff's department had a helicopter in the air to assist in locating the suspects. Deputies are still looking for the pair.
