Monticello Road trailer theft caught on camera
Wednesday, November 16, 2011

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC - A man broke into a Monticello Road business last month and stole a trailer, but his activities were captured on video cameras.

Now Richland County Sheriff’s investigators are hoping someone will help them identify the suspect.

Employees at Hobgood Electric, 10330 Monticello Road, called the department Oct. 30 after discovering someone had stolen a 20-foot four-wheel flatbed trailer.

The suspect was caught on video that also revealed a dark-colored Ford F-350 extended cab pickup with cab lights.

Anyone who recognizes the truck or suspect can leave a tip for the sheriff’s department at Crime Stoppers, (888) CRIME-SC (274-6372).
