Deputies catch men selling cocaine through mailbox
Friday, November 4, 2011

ORANGEBURG, SC (WIS) – Two Branchville men have been arrested and cocaine seized following a narcotics investigation.

Travis Stroman and Christopher Williams were arrested early Thursday morning after deputies saw them placing cocaine in the mailbox of an Orangeburg address and retrieving the money that was inside the mailbox, according to Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell.

Ravenell said deputies found marijuana was found on Williams after a search. The suspect's vehicle was impounded and both were taken to jail.

"We have made numerous narcotics cases over the past nine months, and we will continue," said Ravenell. "Anyone dealing or buying should be put on notice that we won't stop."
