Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said investigators are searching for four more suspects:

1) Dianna Marie Benton, 28, of Garden Lane in Adams Run

2) Bobby Myron Brown, 19, of Wells Lane in Walterboro

3) Clarence Edward Risher, 40, of Risher Mountain Road in Walterboro

4) Michael Vogt, 23, of Jessie Lane in Round-O

Each of the suspects will be charged with larceny/breaking into motor vehicles or tanks, pumps, where fuel, lubricants stored, after they are each arrested, according to Ravenell.

Officers say each of the five suspects broke into a gas pump at Quick Pantry No. 6 on Five Chop Road in Orangeburg on Oct. 4. In all, Ravenell said 2,200 total gallons were stolen, as seen in surveillance.

"Based on our investigation, this group is responsible for the theft of gasoline and we can confirm that they were reselling it. We are continuing to investigate to see if other agencies have similar thefts," Ravenell said.

The sheriff said media coverage of the crime "flooded" the sheriff's office with tips about the identity of the suspects.

According to Ravenell, Thomas received a $5,000 public recognizance bond at Thursday's 2:30 p.m. bond hearing.
