Police seek suspect in alleged armed robbery of local business

CAYCE, SC - The Cayce Department of Public Safety is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a man they say robbed a local business.

According to an incident report, around 10:40 p.m., a man entered the Lil Cricket located at 1101 State Street and robbed the establishment obtaining an undisclosed amount of money on October 10.

Witnesses say the man presented himself as possessing a firearm that was tucked inside the waistband of his pants.

Witnesses describe the man they saw to be wearing a black hooded jacket with writing across the chest and a light color lining, black baggy pants, dark shoes and he was wearing a black ski mask at the time of the robbery.
