Man robs W. Columbia CVS of narcotics

WEST COLUMBIA, SC - A man was caught on camera robbing a pharmacy in West Columbia this morning, and police are hoping someone can help them find the suspect.
Around 9:46 a.m., West Columbia police responded to a robbery call at the CVS Pharmacy at 2401 Sunset Blvd.

Pharmacy employees said a man entered the store and went up to the pharmacy counter. He said he had a weapon and asked for narcotics. He then left and got into the passenger seat of a black Mitsubishi Eclipse.

The car had black rims and is possibly a late 1990s model.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet to 6 feet 6 inches tall and 200 to 230 pounds. He is thought to be between 35 and 45 years old. He was wearing sunglasses, a tan trench coat, blue jeans, white sneakers and a dust mask and red bandanna on his head.
