Deputies: Man Broke Into House to Get to Woman
Monday, September 19, 2011

Orangeburg, SC (WLTX) -- Deputies are searching for a man they say broke into an Orangeburg County home during the early morning hours of July 3.

Investigators with the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Department said 41-year-old Shelly Thomas Faulling of Cloverdale Lane in Orangeburg, along with William Thomas Faulling, broke into a home on Waters Edge Drive, armed with a firearm.

According to deputies, after Shelly Faulling made his way into the home, he pointed the gun at a male victim. Meanwhile, officials say "a female victim was able to escape out [of] the front door without being injured."

Investigators say they believe the incident happened "because of a relationship between the female victim and William Faulling."

William Faulling was arrested on July 21, but deputies are still searching for Shelly Faulling.
