AMBER Alert canceled for missing mother, child

ANDERSON, SC (WCSC) - The State Law Enforcement Division and the Anderson County Sheriff's Office have canceled the Amber Alert for a missing child.

Authorities haven't said where the child, Samuel Zachery Smith, or his mother, Lisha Nicole Minor were located, but the suspect in the abduction is still at large.

They were last seen around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Sunset Grill on Highway 29 North in Anderson in a blue or silver Buick Skylark headed south.

According to the Anderson County Sheriff's Department, the incident was initially called in as a carjacking.

The suspect in the abduction is listed as a white man named Jim, who's described as 5'10" and weighing about 160 pounds, either bald or with short hair. He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt and jeans.
