Sheriff: Accomplice sought in 40 home burglaries
Friday, August 5, 2011

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC - The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is requesting the community’s assistance in locating a suspect they say is wanted for Burglary and Grand Larceny.

Investigators say 20-year-old Kayce Donquell Washington may be in the Eau Claire/Ridgewood area.

Washington is one of the accomplices who committed burglaries along with Dantwan Wilson the suspect responsible for 40 home burglaries in the City of Columbia, Forest Acres, and Richland County, investigators say.

In April, concerned citizens were able to help investigators develop a lead in the city burglary.

The suspect vehicle was identified and spotted in the incident area.

According to investigators, Washington and Wilson burglarized homes and stole TV’s, jewelry, electronic devices, and cash.

Investigators say that the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are forthcoming.

If you know where Washington is hiding you are urged to contact CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
