Neighbors fight back with “National Night Out”

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC - On August 2, Richland County neighborhoods will join forces for the 28th Annual Night Out held at the Richland County Sheriff’s Dept, 2615 Lower Richland Blvd. from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

This unique crime prevention event is sponsored by the National Assoc. of Town Watch and everyone is invited to be a part of the Night Out 2011 Team.

The National Night Out is designed to:

  • Heightened crime and drug prevention awareness

  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs

  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police- community partnerships

  • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
