LCSO: Meth Lab In Camper Found Near Hospital
Friday, July 1, 2011

LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. - Five people were arrested on Thursday after deputies found a mobile meth lab in a camper parked across the highway from a hospital, according to the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office narcotics division got a tip about a possible meth lab in a camper parked across from the Laurens County Hospital on Highway 76E in Clinton.

Deputies said as they went to check on the camper, a car pulled away from the location. They stopped the vehicle, and charged the driver, Adrian Daniel Brown, 24, of Laurens, with driving under suspension.

Deputies said they were then able to confirm the tip and called in meth lab technicians to cleanup of the toxic materials used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Deputies arrested five people on drug-related charges. Christopher Wayne Cash, 33, of Clinton, is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, unlawful disposal of methamphetamine waste, possession of methamphetamine, and unlawful neglect of a child.

Ronald Jeffery Eaton, 44, of Laurens is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, unlawful disposal of methamphetamine waste, and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Karen Lynn Lewis, 31, of Waterloo is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, unlawful disposal of methamphetamine waste and possession of methamphetamine.

Cassidy Clark, 34, of Ware Shoals, and Keemareo Shawn Dillard, 30, of Clinton, are charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and unlawful disposal of methamphetamine.

All of the suspects are being held in the Johnson Detention Center pending bond hearings.
