Woman finds burglar waiting inside business she was opening

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A woman opened her business Tuesday morning to find a burglar waiting inside, according to the Columbia Police Department.

A spokesperson with the department says the robbery happenehttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifd around 8:45 when the woman was opening Sally Beauty Supply store on Patterson Road near Garners Ferry Road and I-77.

When the woman went inside the store, the unidentified man threatened her and then took her money, according to police. The woman was not injured.

Investigators believe the man may have gotten into the beauty supply store through a business next door that is being renovated.

Police have not yet released a description of the robber.
