Two Men Wanted for Robbery, May Be in Columbia
Wednesday, June 8, 2011

Richland County, SC (WLTX) -- Investigators say two men accused of a Thursday afternoon robbery may be found in the Columbia area Wednesday.

Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff's Department say two men assaulted and robbed a male victim at the Greenbrier Apartments on Willow Oak Drive in Northeast Richland County at about 1:15 p.m. on June 2.

Investigators say the victim told deputies that once he walked into his apartment, the suspects knocked on his door. When the man answered the door, the suspects showed guns and demanded money.

That's when authorities say the suspects assaulted the man, took his money and wallet, and ran away. If you can help investigators find the men, you are urged to call CrimeStoppers of the Midlands at 1-888-CRIME-SC or text a tip to "CRIMES" beginning with the term "TIPSC."
