Sumter, SC (WLTX) -- Police are searching for two men after a Monday afternoon robbery at Carolina's Inn on South Pike Street in the City of Sumter.

Investigators with the Sumter Police Department say before 4:15 p.m. two armed men walked into the hotel's office area and demanded money.

That's when the men demanded money from a hotel employee, took the undisclosed amount of money, and ran away from the hotel into a wooded area.

The first suspect is described as being a man aged 17 to 23, about 6'1" in height and weighing about 180 pounds. The second man, pictured in the sketch, is said to be about 5'4" in height with a slim build.

If you can help investigators find the men, you are urged to call CrimeStoppers of the Midlands 1-888-CRIME-SC or text a tip to "CRIMES" beginning with the term "TIPSC." If the information you provide leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward.
