Deputies Want Attempted Murder Suspect

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WLTX) -- Deputies are working to identify the man they say shot someone at a convenience store Wednesday night.

Investigators with the Richland County Sheriff's Department say the gunman fired shots at the Li'l Cricket convenience store on Leesburg Road at about 11 p.m. The victim was shot in the upper body, according to deputies.

Witnesses told deputies that the gunman fired several shots before running away.

The victim was taken to Palmetto Health Richland and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
