COLUMBIA, SC - Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott is asking for the community’s assistance in locating Jarquis Bernard Davis (pictured right, DOB: 9/6/91) who is wanted for Attempted Murder and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime involving a shooting that occurred on May 5, 2011 at 4219 Grand Street. Chief Scott added that a second suspect, Desmond Hakeem Mayo (DOB: 11/21/89), was arrested on the day of the incident (May 5, 2011) for Attempted Murder in connection with the shooting.

Columbia Police responded to the shooting outside of the Grand Street residence at approximately 2:30 a.m. and located the victim who was shot multiple times.
