Shooting leaves teenager dead, man injured

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) - A shooting in Sumter County leaves an Eastover teenager dead and another man injured.

Deputies have arrested 31-year-old Frederick Benjamin. He faces murder, attempted murder, and armed robbery charges.

Deputies say the shooting happened in the roadway of the South Forge apartments off Highway 261 in Wedgefield.

The second victim was treated and released for a gun shot wound to the arm.

Deputies still need to find three men: 22-year-old Sherrod Smith, 32-year-old Trevor Davis, and 41-year-old Raymond Brown.
