Man Robs McDonald's from the Drive-Thru

COLUMBIA, SC - West Columbia, SC (WLTX) - West Columbia police are searching for a man they say robbed a McDonald's restaurant from the drive-thru lane.

The crime took place around 3:15 a.m. Friday at the store, located at 1303 Charleston Highway.

Police say the man pulled up to the drive-up window and pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money. After he got the money, he left in an older model 4-door sedan, possibly an Oldsmobile, according to authorities.

The suspect is described as having long hair, possibly dreadlocks. No one was injured in the incident.
