Caught On Tape: Group Vandalizing, Stealing From Hospital Vending Machines
Tuesday, May 31, 2011

ORANGEBURG, SC - Orangeburg deputies are searching for a group of suspects they say vandalized vending machines at the Regional Medical Center.

Investigators say there have been two separate incidents, one taking place on May 15 and another happening on May 22. Officers say combined, the suspects took $200 and caused $800 in damage.

Surveillance photos from the May 15 incident reveal two males removing cash and damaging the vending machines on two separate floors of the hospital, deputies say. On May 22, a male and a female were observed removing cash and damaging the flower machine in the main lobby of the hospital.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC, or e-mail a tip in to Crimestoppers of the Midlands. You can also text information in by texting "TIPSC" plus your message to CRIMES (274637). Either way you choose, your identity will remain anonymous, and you could be eligible for a cash reward.
