COLUMBIA, SC - Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott is seeking the community’s assistance in locating Donald Allen Kelly (pictured right, DOB: 8/5/68) who is wanted for Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Burglary 1st and Assault 1st.

On Saturday, May 21, 2011 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Kelly entered a residence on Kathwood Drive without permission and presented a knife. Kelly then forced the homeowner into the garage and demanded money. The homeowner provided him an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect later fled in an unknown vehicle.

Chief Scott stated that the Columbia Police Department is working in collaboration with the Forest Acres Police Department as Kelly is wanted out of their jurisdiction for a Kidnapping and Armed Robbery when he forced a victim to withdraw money from an ATM on May 17, 2011.

Chief Scott asks that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Donald Allen Kelly to call Crimestoppers at 888-CRIME-SC. Your anonymous tip could earn you a cash reward of up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
