Victim of Waffle House shooting dies

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The victim of an early-morning shooting at a Columbia Waffle House has died, and deputies are trying to identify a suspect.

Richland County deputies said the shooting happhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifened at the Waffle House at the intersection of Farrow Road and Parklane Road shortly before 4:00am. Deputies said a man was shot in the upper body.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died shortly before 10:00am.

Investigators have not been able to identify a suspect. We will have more information as it becomes available.
