Two Wanted in Burglary Investigations
Tuesday, March 8, 2011

West Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Police are searching for two people they say may be connected to a string of burglaries from Nov. 17, 2010 to Feb. 7.

Investigators with the West Columbia Police Department say at least two burglaries occurred on Burlie Drive and two on Hook Avenue in West Columbia during that window of time.

Officers say in each of the burglaries, the people responsible kicked in the doors to the homes and took electronics and jewelry.

Investigators say 28-year-old Kenneth Oneal Timmons of Cabot Avenue in Columbia and 25-year-old Darryl Rodney Bartley of Wilkinson Street in Cayce.

Police say they connected some of the stolen goods to two people shortly after the burglaries occurred, through the help of citizens and witnesses. Chief Dennis Tyndall said his officers hold arrest warrants for receiving stolen goods for both men.
