Police: Man wanted after 18-year-old shot in face

SUMTER, SC (WIS) - Sumter Police said they are looking for a suspect they consider armed and dangerous.

Johnathan Brown is wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred at a nightclub on Manning Avenue around 2:30am Friday. Major Alvin Holston said an 18-year-old man was shot in the left side of the face in a car while trying to leave the location.

The victim was taken to Tuomey Hospital by others in the car. He remains hospitalized, but Major Holston said he's in stable condition.

He said witnesses at the scene were able to identify Brown as the suspect. He's wanted on an arrest warrant for attempted murder.
